Kiran is Co-founder & CEO of MyFi, which he co-founded with Kinnari Thakker in 2024. The ambition is to bring AI and autonomous experiences to financial guidance, making financial intelligence easier to access, understand and use. It is today’s focus within a broader interest in how AI and thoughtful design can help people across different parts of life.

### Ideas, made into products people use.

Kiran co-founded 1st Main with Kinnari Thakker in 2017. They bootstrapped a digital product agency from three people into a profitable business without outside funding, taking ideas to live products used by hundreds of thousands of people. Clients included WeWork India, Zoya, Marg Publication and Jify, the fintech later acquired by Moneyview. TIFIN became a client in May 2021 and acquired 1st Main in February 2022.

### The intention to build was there from the beginning.

Kiran started at Merrill Lynch in London in 2007, before its acquisition by Bank of America. He moved to Morgan Stanley in London in 2010 and to its New York offices in late 2011. Before leaving, he headed technology for the equity derivatives platform for structured products, managing teams in New York, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo. Those years were preparation for returning to India and starting his own business.
